LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The New Mexico State football team held its annual spring game Saturday, April 26, at Aggie Memorial Stadium as the NMSU defense defeated the NMSU offense 35-17 in a four-quarter battle on the gridiron.
McDermott finished the game going 32-of-49 for 281 yards and two touchdowns, as Julius Fleming tallied nine catches for 94 yards and a touchdown. Marcus Anderson grabbed seven passes while LaVorick Williams brought in eight. Defensively, the Aggies tallied six sacks as Nick Paden led the way with eight tackles and a sack.
