LAS CRUCES, N.M. - New Mexico State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia announced Wednesday that the Aggies have solidified their TV distribution network, signing deals with FOX Sports Arizona, Altitude, Comcast and local ABC affiliate KVIA.

“Aggie athletics is coming off a historically successful year across the board, especially the sports Aggie Vision produces for television broadcast,” Moccia remarked. “While we must balance the live TV experience with the importance of our fans attending games, having a robust family of broadcast partners is a huge advantage for out of state alumni, prospective student-athlete recruitment and advertising for our corporate partners in addition to football auditioning for a conference as well as a possible bowl game selection.”

FOX Sports Arizona, who has been airing NM State Athletics sporting events since 2007, will continue to distribute all televised home events that can be seen in 2.5 million homes in Arizona and New Mexico as well as other regions of the United States and can be seen on both DirecTV and Dish Network. Some NMSU broadcasts will be also offered on FOX Sports Arizona Plus and Aggie Vision productions will be streamed on the new FOX Sports App.

“FOX Sports Arizona is once again looking forward to bringing another season of New Mexico State Athletics to our viewers throughout New Mexico and Arizona,” said Brian Hogan, FOX Sports Arizona Senior Vice President & General Manager. “We have enjoyed a tremendous partnership with NM State over the years.”

“I appreciate all of our partners who have worked with us to help give Aggie sports one of the widest coverages locally, regionally and nationally,” said Moccia.

Altitude will also continue its partnership with NM State, airing select Aggie Vision produced home games on Altitude or Altitude 2. Altitude’s network reaches over 5 million subscribers that include its 10-state territory and out of market subscribers. The 10-state territory for Altitude includes Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas as well as South Dakota, Nevada and New Mexico.

“Altitude has had a tremendous association with New Mexico State since our initial network launch in 2004,” said Doug Ballmer, Senior Director of Programming. “We are once again proud to continue the tradition of live NM State games on Altitude in 2018-19.”

Comcast will air select Aggie football and men’s and women’s basketball games as part of its deal. Fans with subscriptions to Comcast can catch all Aggie Vision produced games on Comcast channel 77.

“Comcast is thrilled to extend our long running partnership with New Mexico State to show Aggie sports to fans across New Mexico this year,” said Chris Dunkeson, Comcast Area Vice President.

Last, but not least, is NM State’s renewed deal with ABC affiliate KVIA-TV – who will once again air select Aggie sports on its family of networks.

“ABC-7 in the El Paso – Las Cruces television market is once again partnering with New Mexico State to broadcast selected Aggie sporting events in the 2018-19 season,” ABC-7 General Manager Kevin Lovell said. “A healthy dose of primarily Aggie football and men’s basketball games will air on the El Paso – Las Cruces CW Network station which is part of the KVIA family of networks. The El Paso – Las Cruces CW is available for viewing in more than 300,000 over-the-air and cable and satellite households in El Paso, Las Cruces and much of southwestern New Mexico. A devoted Aggie sports follower having covered Aggie sports for seven years as a sportscaster at KVIA early in his career, Lovell said, “KVIA is honored to support Aggie athletics particularly as the Aggies men’s and women’s athletic teams are coming off perhaps the most successful year in New Mexico State athletic department history.”
