Changes To Men’s Basketball Season Ticketing Structure

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State Department of Athletics is excited to announce transformational changes to the season ticket pricing structure at the Pan American Center for the 2014-15 men’s basketball season.

NM State has eliminated the required seat donation that has been charged since the 2006-07 season. Now, fans that join the Aggie Athletic Club (AAC) will be eligible to purchase season tickets anywhere in the arena, including all seats in the lower bowl.

All lower bowl seats, except those located in sections 101 and 103, will be reserved for Aggie Athletic Club members. Aggie Athletic Club memberships start at just $100 per year and proceeds go towards student-athlete scholarships.

The Aggies play a 17-game home schedule this year, including home events with UNM, UTEP, Colorado State, Cal Irvine and the entire Western Athletic Conference. Season ticket prices start at $50 for upper level seating, which is less than $3 per game. Lower bowl season ticket pricing starts at $150.

“Like most of the fans I talk to, we all want to see the Pan American Center full,” said athletic director McKinley Boston. “Whether it is the elimination of the required seat license or the new $50 season ticket price in the upper bowl, New Mexico State men’s basketball season tickets are now more affordable for the whole community.”

Led by head coach Marvin Menzies, NM State has won three-straight WAC championships and four of the past five. The Aggies have also made three trips in a row to the NCAA tournament. With the reigning WAC Player of the Year Daniel Mullings and a solid returning nucleus from last season, a breakthrough season and a deep run in the NCAA tournament are certainly within reach.

Season tickets are available for purchase on Sept. 19 and renewals will be sent out Sept. 15.

Tickets can be purchased at the Pan American Center ticket office or by calling 575-646-1420.
