Aggie Volleyball Signs A Pair From Coppell High (TX)

According to a report in the Coppell High School Sidekick, a pair of volleyball players from the Coppell Cowgirls volleyball team will be headed to Las Cruces, N.M. for the 2010 season. Right side hitter Dierdre Pajares and libero Shelby Tamura both signed National Letters of Intent to play for the Aggies.

Pajares, a 6'0" opposite side hitter has recorded 130 kills this season for the Cowgirls. Tamura, a 5'2" libero has recorded 267 digs for the Cowgirls this season. Both players are part of the Texas Advantage Volleyball club system and Pajares was named to the 2009 AVCA High School Watch List.

Tamura was an All-Tournament selection for the Allen Teas Open and the Jenny Eckert Tournament while both Pajares and Tamura were named to the Lone Star Volleyball All-Texas High School Special Recognition team.
