Aggie Soccer Needs Your Support At The Final Two Home Matches

Hello Aggie Fans!!

Things have been very busy around here, this building a program project has been a lot of hard work and very time consuming. I am sure you are aware but YOUR AGGIE WOMEN'S SOCCER PROGRAM is currently on top of the WAC standings and preparing for the "Home Stretch" of our inaugural season. We have accomplished many firsts so far this year and are on the cusp of reaching our goal of making the WAC Conference Tournament.

We need your help to make this happen, we are not asking for any handouts or financial donation. All we are asking for you and everyone you know to spend four hours in beautiful Aggie Memorial Stadium cheering on YOUR AGGIES! Our kids love this community and the support you have given us, and look forward to entertaining you two more times. Come out and see how hard these kids are working for each other, the NMSU community, and for Las Cruces.

We are currently 8-5-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the WAC Conference, this puts us on top of the standings with 10 Points. My calculations indicate that 12 Points will get us into the WAC Tournament (Wins=3, Ties=1, Losses=0), so we are right on the edge of making history again, with your help creating two more amazing home field environments we will achieve our goal sooner than later.

In addition to supporting Aggie Soccer, on Sunday October 18 at 1:00PM vs. Hawaii we will be raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Research. We are proud to be a part of such an important cause, so be sure to wear your pink and enjoy a beautiful Sunday afternoon with us. Our game on Friday October 30 at 7:00PM vs. Nevada will be in celebration of the short, but very special careers of two seniors. Katie Graul a native of San Clemente, CA and Las Cruces's own Cristianna Smith. We will have a short ceremony where they will be honored as pioneers of the "World's Greatest Game" at New Mexico State University.

What is at stake:

1.) 3 Points and we guarantee a birth into the WAC Conference Tournament in our first year!

2.) Currently we rank in the Top 20 in the Nation in Average Home Attendance, with two big crowds we could vault ourselves into the upper echelon (Top 10) in Average Home Attendance.

3.) YOUR AGGIES received their first National Ranking this week, coming in at #49 on Top Drawer Tournament 64 Watch List (We want to stay there, so please come help us!)

4.) A win on Sunday will keep us undefeated WAC and keep us in the running for a WAC Regular Season Championship in our first year.

Thank you again for the tremendous support you have shown our program. Our kids look forward to the off-season when they can get out in the community and work with as many young soccer players as possible, and get involved all over Las Cruces helping everyone in any way they can. We look forward to seeing you and your friends for the last two home games, help us cap off a wonderful year for these kids and an amazing year for the future of college soccer in Las Cruces!

See you at the match!!
