I am still flying high over the results from this past weekend. One of the greatest things about being on a college campus versus being in a conference office is that you really care about the results on the playing surfaces. Winning gives you an extra bounce in your step. I have some serious "hops" this week!
This week is a very special week, indeed. It is Tough Enough to Wear Pink week and unless your head is buried in the sand, you have been inundated with information on this important week. Breast cancer touches everyone. Whether you or your family has lost a loved one, or you know someone that has battled this terrible disease, breast cancer is very real. Through a collaborative community effort, a college football game is all about finding a cure and raising money for cancer research. In addition, the two home volleyball games will also feature the Tough Enough to Wear Pink theme.
Go to the game this Saturday. Not only will the product on the field thrill your senses, but the community aspect of the event says more about Las Cruces than any pundit could write in a travel magazine or a ranking of top places to live. This event will be seen by the nation and will be featured in various media outlets. Be part of the game. Be part of the cure for breast cancer.
