NMSU Athletics Extends Broadcast Rights Deal

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The Aggie Sports Network and Radio of Las Cruces (Sunrise Broadcasting Inc. & Richardson Commercial Corporation) have agreed to a new broadcast rights contract for both English and Spanish broadcasts. Radio of Las Cruces stations (K-GREAT 104, HOT 103, KSNM 570 & KKVS-FM Viva Vista 98.7FM La GranD) will retain their designation as the flagship stations for all NMSU athletic events.

The new deal calls for the live English broadcast of all New Mexico State University football and men's basketball games on K-GREAT 104, as well as a minimum of 10 volleyball, 25 women's basketball, 25 baseball, and 8 softball games broadcast on KSNM 570. The coverage of Aggie sports in Spanish on KKVS 98.7 FM includes all football games, all men's basketball home games, and selected other contests throughout the year.

"Through this partnership, we will have the most extensive coverage of New Mexico State athletics in the history of the program and allows us to reach our fans in both English and Spanish."

KSNM 570 will broadcast a weekly, two-hour coach's show during the fall and winter months featuring head coaches, athletic department personnel, and special guests.
