Be sure to check out the inaugural post from NMSU Associate AD Steve Macy's blog here at bleedCrimson.net as he talks about creating value for Aggie season ticket holders and some of the strategies that the Aggie marketing and promotions staff have come up with.
While we're still on the subject of creating value, Howard at the always outstanding Double A Zone (the NCAA's official blog) discusses advertising revenues and uses the University of Texas as a prime example of an athletic department that has been successful at generating ad revenue thanks in large part to their ridiculously large jumbotron which is rumored to be able to be seen from space when it's lit up during a night game at DKR Stadium (EVERYTHING'S bigger in Texas).
On to today's links...
Teddy Feinberg of the Las Cruces Sun-News checks in with Aggie track and field coach Orin Richburg. For more from Coach Richburg check out the NMSU athletic website's Q&A with Coach Richburg from earlier this week as well as our interview with Coach Richburg on May 22nd.
This video is completely unrelated to sports but it's good for a laugh on this hump day edition of The Daily Aggie.
