The Aggie baseball team was swept yesterday by the Lobos at Presley Askew Field. The Aggies lost the first game 12-3 and the second game 8-6. The losses drop the Aggies' record to 6-9 on the season. The losses also drop the Aggies further behind in the Rio Grande Rivalry Standings which now 12 - 6 in favor of UNM. The Aggies need to win every event remaining to draw a tie in the inaugural standings.
Up next for the baseball team is the conference opening series against San Jose State. The series starts tomorrow.
The Aggie softball team is also in action tomorrow as they head to Los Angeles to take on Loyola Marymount. The Aggies open up their conference season on Monday against 17th ranked Hawai'i. The Aggies will play a three game series against the Wahine. Be sure to check out this week's interview with Coach Rodolph.
