What's your favorite part about playing volleyball?
My favorite thing about playing volleyball, there's so many things I like about it. I just love the sport and it's really fun to compete. I also love the things that come along with getting to play volleyball like all the friendships that you make and all the relationships and experiences that come through volleyball.

What's your favorite movie?
I love romance comedies but my favorite is probably The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

The first one or the second one?
I love them both! The second one.

What's your favorite food?
My favorite food is fruit.

Any particular fruit or just all of them?
I love every fruit but I'm really obsessed with mangos lately.

What's currently playing on your iPod?
Dave Barnes

What's your favorite television show?
America's Funniest Home Videos.

The Bob Saget version (CLASSIC!) or the new one?
I don't care, either one but I watch the new one every day!

My favorite television series is Friends.

What's something about yourself that most people don't know?
I'm allergic to peanut butter.

What attracted you to come to NMSU?
I just really liked Coach Jordan from the minute I started talking to him I was just really impressed with him and what he had to say. When I came here everything seemed like a really good fit.

How long have you been in Las Cruces?
I've been here about two months.

What's been the biggest change between here and Atlanta?
Everything. My old school (Georgia Tech) was right in the middle of the city and so I was surrounded by big buildings. Here it's in the middle of the desert. I guess the biggest difference is how much more peaceful and relaxed it is here.

And the school... At Tech everybody was really nerdy so you knew who an athlete was because they kind of stuck out. Here I think everyone's athletes because they're all just kind of normal looking students.

What does being an Aggie mean to you?
I'm really excited about being an Aggie. I already have felt more at home here in Las Cruces and being an Aggie than I ever did at Tech for two years, after just two months. I'm really proud of it and I just feel so lucky to be a part of something that means so much to people. Already this preseason we've gotten to go to a few boosters' houses and we had a preseason banquet where I saw how much the community supports it and just how much everyone loves it and I feel lucky to be a part of something that is well known and everyone is really fond of.

What kind of impact do you hope to make?
I hope to make a positive impact and bring energy and hard work and make a difference for my team every time I step on the court.
